Quick update

We are doing good. We have finally settled into our housing for the month after a few minor issues.

This is truly a humbling and frustrating experience not being able to communicate and not understanding anything that is going on. Yesterday we went to a lunch conference and met with drug manufacture representatives and I had no clue what was being discussed. Generic drug names are the same and that's about it. One perk is most clinical literature is written in English because the most prestigious journals are English. We will have opportunity to edit one of the papers for grammar (thanks mom for showing me the ropes). You would be mortified if you saw there attempt.

Meals will be interesting. I hate spending money for every meal but we only have hot plate and fridge in room. No microwave. We have nothing to cook with but our professor brought us stuff from
Home.We will Make simple meals like spaghetti, soup, macaroni and chili (maybe grilled cheese to go with it :) cheese and bread are staples around here.
