She did sooooooo good! I was so proud of little bit!
She weighed 10 pounds (25% percentile) and head circumference was in 25% percentile as well
She only measured like 21 inches so her % was not very good.
Baby C is slowly improving at sleeping during the night, but she is still crying a lot when she is awake.
Her thrush has improved tremendously! Thankful to finally be getting rid of the fungal nuisance!
I am singing praises to Jesus and thankful for the healthiness of this child despite what she experienced in the womb from her mother.
At 1:00 pm Matt and I had a meeting about Baby B to change his permanency plan. Before today, Baby B's goal was to be reunited with his mother but because she has "abandoned" him for 4+ months, DCS can proceed with terminating the mother's rights. The mother was preset at the meeting today and interacted with Baby B. She is quite different than Baby Cs mother. A nice change for sure.
On paper, Baby B's goal has changed, but ultimately a judge is required to hear the case of why his goal is changing and legally put it into action. We do not have court date set as of now.
Please be in prayer for the mother of Baby B. As a YOUNG girl she is very torn on what is best for her baby. She just wants him to be well taken care of.
The mother has some ADULT decisions to make in the near future that could change Baby B's future forever. It would allow us to proceed at a much quicker rate with his adoption plan depending on her decision. She has voiced interest in going the "easier" (but not an "easier" decision for her) route to avoid a drawn out court case of possibly the inevitable.
Continue to pray for Baby B and the circumstances that surround him being in the custody of the state!
Here is a sneak peak of the great pictures my good friend Lindsay took of him at shelby farms! Cant wait till I can post the entire picture!
