What were you doing on 7/22 at 16:26?

What is so special about 7/22 at 16:26?

Baby C was being born by C-section! She was born at 36 weeks, weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 18 inches long

It is so strange thinking about we had no idea Baby C existed before Thursday (7/26). She entered the world on 7/22. Many who we are closest to in Memphis were actually at a hospital as well on this date/time.

If you remember previous post, this is the same day Jane hit her head so hard she needed 11 stitches! We were at St Francis Bartlett ER waiting to hear the extent of Jane's injury, while precious Baby C was entering into this world. I even went and got Dunkin Donuts as we awaited the results from CT scan.

A world full of sin and devastation.
From the fall of Adam and Eve, we are all born into sin. Only through faith alone, grace alone and Jesus' death and resurrection can we have freedom in Christ.
Christ is the reason Christians should not be wrapped up in a lifestyle of sin. He loved you to the point of death on a cross.
Dont hear me wrong, Christians sin because we still live in humanly flesh, but we dont make it a lifestyle. Our mission is NOT to start sinning (Although we should strive to live as Jesus lived) less because to be perfect is impossible. Our mission is the spreading of the Gospel.
My prayer is that we, as well as our support system, are living out the Gospel with Baby C being in our care. The mother desperately needs to know the hope and the freedom found in christ, not the temporary freedom found in worldly desires and behaviors.
Jesus Christ has risen and sits on a throne beside our Creator. I pray for the opportunity to share with the mother throughout our interactions with her.

Matt and I wanted to document exactly what we were doing the day our first foster baby was born!
